“Realize that everything connects to everything else.”
Different heights, different eye colors and face shapes, different personalities...so different that most people don't guess that we are sisters! But we share one important thing in common: we both have lived with chronic illness and had to learn the hard way that everything we do affects our health and healing isn't one-size-fits-all.
We are all here to make an impact to change the word for the better, no matter how big or small it is!
But it is easy to be held back from making your deepest impact by your health and the choices you make on a daily basis.
We know this personally.
We’ve been learning to thrive with chronic illness, including chronic Lyme and its coinfections, though food and clean living for 10 years and along the way we’ve made wellness our professional careers.
What we know for sure is that chronic symptoms should not be ignored (even if the first doctor you see might not believe you or have any options). Those symptoms are sacred messengers — our bodies attempt to tell us that something needs to change.
Our goal is to help women get back in touch with themselves and to trust their bodies’ intuition again.
It is time for a new way of looking at wellness. While your body does not have a voice, it will let you know through symptoms how it likes the daily choices you are making. Wellness is so much easier when we listen to our bodies while they whisper, before they have to shout and land us in the ER or with a disease.
It’s time to reconnect with your body. Taking care of your health and becoming conscious of what works for you will help in almost every area of your life. But it’s hard to hear your body or trust what works for you because it’s a loud and noisy world out there. Wellness has gotten overwhelmingly hard with too much information (and often conflicting information), fads, and bias. We’ve agendize-ed health (now a trillion dollar industry) and fallen victim to assembly line thinking, acting like our bodies are all the same. And it’s hurting us all.
We aren’t here to boss you around and make you feel judged. We are here to encourage you that 1) you deserve to feel amazing (we all ignore too many symptoms and just deal with them) 2) your body really does talk to you and it’s time to trust that again, because your body is so unique that you really do need to DO YOU! 3) And we’re here to encourage you that small, incremental changes can make a radical difference on your health over time and to share a lot of simple truths to save you time on your own journey.
Because time is the ultimate commodity. You can’t get it back.
Feeling unwell, low energy, or downright sick robs you of time. Time to spend with those you love, to follow your dreams, and to make an impact!
We knew when we created SHE Day as a full-day event that we were asking for your time, but our goal is to take those 8 hours and use them as an incredible fast forward button to ultimately save you time on your journey to feeling your best!
The whole day is designed to help you get very clear on your personal sustainable, healthy, ethical (SHE) journey, in a fun environment of community and encouragement with other women who are passionate about the same things you are!
You were made to feel awesome & we're so glad you are here!
